Jan 15, 2018 · I motorised a couple of N gauge Peco TT’s using very cheap geared stepper motors (less than £5) and an Arduino UNO. The fake moulded rollers on the bridge ends need removing and replacing with real rollers. I used some spare part Bachmann BR Mk 1coach bogies glued underneath with one wheel pulled off each axle.

The turntable itself is a very nice model and straight forward to build but I found it was not just a case of bolting a motorising kit underneath to make it work well.

Well, I wired the thing up like the instructions say and it worked just fine with DCC. Just make sure you have the split ring sections allign to your primary positions for the bridge, the gap should be probably halfway through the normal rotation.

Peco’s wiring is located on the back of the turnout, so you can follow that. Still, I use an ohm meter to avoid missing anything. Peco sells switch machines, but I show wiring diagrams using Tortoises (I like calling them Torti). Peco already provides documentation with the turnouts using their switch machines, so I would be redundant.
